Bacon Bros Burgers in Christchurch

"Bit of a late review but it needed to be done. I would like to highly commend the owner of this establishment for showing his quality and upholding his reputation even if it costs himself. Baconbros covered a large catering event for my workplace for an early Christmas staff do. Unfortunately there were a couple serious let downs with the food with the young 2 person team who were on the grill that day that we later provided feedback on. The owner upon learning of the situation immediately took ownership. He proposed to bring their food truck directly to our workplace on site with himself there to facilitate the operation and make us all free ‘redemption burgers’ and he did exactly that. He made sure it was one of the best burgers we were to ever experience. To my understanding he also specially prepared his own specialty competition beef brisket to slide into the burgers as an extra bonus. We were all totally blown away with how exceptional this time around was. I really deeply respect a person who values his brand and image more than simply making profit. Your actions and mana really spoke to me in more ways than just a great burger ever could. This is the pinnacle of customer service. You can’t always get it right but you can always make it right. Thank you from all of us at Gun City. We are raving fans!"

"Good size burger for the price! Both burger and the fries were very yummy! Service was very friendly and wait time is usually quite quick! Construction going outside on so minimal outdoor seating but we found a table and it was still good!"

"I chose the bacon cranberry and Brie burger and it was delicious, so fresh tasting. A great portion. The fries are also delicious, golden and crispy. Definitely recommend here located inside Little High Eatery."

"We love the Little High Eatery, although the outdoor seating area was closed this time which was a shame and meant finding seating was much more of a challenge than normal. Although you can always get takeaway. We all loved our burgers, the chips were chunky and fresh and the onion rings were perfect. The cauliflower was a surprise because it was lightly battered but tasted so fresh and less fatty which was a nice addition. It took about 20mins for our food to be ready but we were there at peak dinner time so this seemed remarkably quick considering (and we were told of the approximate wait when we ordered which is always appreciated)"
